Character Concept Bird Doctor

Character Design of a humanoid bird creature for a personal project. They are a doctor, living on a floating treehouse in the water. The design of the cape is very intricate, so I created a sewing pattern to better understand the different layers before drawing the final illustrations. The character design is based on the potoo bird.
